Holiday Let Consultation Process

In our initial consultation we get to know you, your ideas and goals. Likewise, we want you to feel you can get a good understanding of us, what we do and how we’ll do it.

At Canongate Consulting, we want to build a firm bond with you from day one and maintain it throughout our professional journey together. Gaining a good understanding of what it is you’re setting out to achieve and what budget you’re working with is where we start.
You’ll need to know what market your looking to engage with, is your property Dog- friendly, Child-friendly or a romantic couples retreat? Knowing this can give us a great foundation to base our work on.

If your property is an established holiday let, having your previous years occupancy figures and guest feedback will be a great asset in helping us asses where we can help you improve in that area. In such a review based world, there’s no better advert for your property than an abundance of glowing 5 star guest reviews!

We will review your existing furnishings, linens, towels, any extra guest supplies you currently provide and consider the overall atmosphere.
We analyse the property in order to give you advice and suggestions that will give your property the edge and what you can realistically look to accomplish both short and long term.

Our initial consultations are charged at £75 per hour (travel costs to be discussed) After this visit, we will produce an itemized estimate which will detail advice and actions to be taken including how much the project will cost. Should you wish Canongate Consulting to manage the project for you the cost of the consultation will be deducted from the final invoice.
